Jesus said ”With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matt 19:6 (Regarding Salvation) ASV
From the gospel of Mark: “And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst! All things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 (Regarding Healing of a boy) ASV
“Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; remove this cup from me: howbeit not what I will, but what thou wilt.” Mark 14:36 (Regarding deliverance from trial and tribulations) ASV
All things are possible with God!
Why?
Because God is faithful.
From the beginning of time God has proven time and time again His faithfulness to His creation.Jesus said in Mark 11:22-24“ And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. “
We can trust God! When we do, the impossible happens!
The impossible happened to Abraham
1. God promised that Abraham would be the father of many nations at the age of 99 although he had no children at the time (Gen 17)
2. God promised that Abraham would be prosperous (Gen 17)
3. Miracles were performed through Abraham’s prayers.
4. Abraham prayed for the deliverance of others in Sodom and Gomorrah and helped save Lot (Gen 18:16-33)
5.Abraham prayed for Abimelech (Gen 20:17-18)
The impossible happened to Moses with the parting of the Red Sea (Exodus 14)
Exodus 14:13 Moses said to the people, “"Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today.” ESV
The impossible happened to David when he killed Goliath with a single stone (1 Samuel 17)
The impossible happened to Daniel in the Lion’s den (Daniel 6)
The impossible happened to the disciples when each one of them was filled with the personal presence of the Holy Spirit! (Acts 2)
The impossible can still happen today because we serve a God who is the same yesterday, today and forever! (Heb 13:8)
What He did for them, He can and will do for us – as long as we put our trust in Him!
Psa 34:8 “Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him.“ ASV
